- This postcard is a black and white drawing of Dante and Virgil as they stand in front of a river with two men submerged up to their necks in the water. One of the men is German. On one side of Dante stands a centaur. Text at top center: "Io vidi gente sotto infino al ciglio;/E il Centauro disse: Ei son tiranni,/Che dier nel sangue e nell'aver di piglio. (Inferno canto XII)." On reverse: blank.
